"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts” (Malachi 3:10-11 ).
While some will focus on the penalties for not giving to God what belongs to Him, at Harvest Fire, we will focus on the blessings of being obedient to God. Giving to God is not an option, it is a mandate! God owns and is entitled to a minimum of 10% of all we earn, plus offering gifts that are representative of one’s sense of appreciation of what He has done for them. Before deciding how much of an offering to give to God over and above your tithes it should be remembered that we often reap more than we sow, after we sow and more importantly, what we sow. Some of the greatest harvests are reaped by givers who have given out of their needs in obedience to God. A giver to emulate would be the widow at Zarepath who gave the last of her resources to the Kingdom and Elijah and then was sustained during the famine along with her son and the Man of God.
There are 3 reasons why you should give to Harvest Fire: 1) It is fruitful ground; 2) It is a proven ministry that is impacting the Kingdom on a global basis and 3) There is great transparency and accountability.
